("The Rules")

Organisation of the Game

These are the terms and conditions (“Rules”) that apply to the Ready to Play - Growing The Game, For Her (“Promotion”). By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees to these Rules and confirms they have read and understood the Football Association of Wales Privacy Policy.

The promoter is the Football Association of Wales, located at Hensol, Pontyclun CF72 8JY.

The Promotion is open to residents of any country except Austria, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, the Philippines, South Korea, and Taiwan.

Notwithstanding the exceptions above, this Promotion is void where prohibited by law.

The following individuals are not eligible to enter the Promotion:

• Football Association of Wales employees and individuals engaged by Football Association of Wales;
• Members of their immediate family and/or household (whether related or not) to any of those individuals; and
• Anyone else professionally involved with the operation or administration of the Promotion.

All entrants must be over 18 to enter.

Entrants can enter by signing up to the Promotion on the following Football Association of Wales web page at https://fawpromotions.cymru/competition-hub/ready-to-play-growing-the-game-for-her, or by post to Ready to Play - Growing The Game, For Her, Football Association of Wales, Hensol, Pontyclun CF72 8JY. If entering by post please provide an email address of telephone number for us to contact you if you win.

The promotion closes at 09/06/2024 Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

There is one prize: Ready to Play - Growing The Game, For Her (the “Prize(s)”).

The winner will be picked at random by Football Association of Wales from all eligible entries on 09/06/2024, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and will be notified by email.

We reserve the right to provide an alternative Prize(s) of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

No purchase is necessary.

No automated entries will be accepted.

No refund may be claimed for expenses incurred in participating in the Promotion, including in relation to the use of the internet.

We reserve the right to exclude any entries which we believe to be inappropriate, fraudulent or based on misconduct.

The Prize(s) is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.

The winner will have 72 hours to claim their Prize(s) from the date that they are contacted with notification that they are a winner. After this time we reserve the right to select a new winner. Football Association of Wales will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner, but it is the winner’s responsibility to monitor their email account, including any junk folder, for receipt of notification.

The decisions of Football Association of Wales are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Prize(s) will be delivered to the winner within a reasonable timescale after claiming the Prize(s).

Personal Data:

• By taking part in this Promotion, all entrants consent to the Promoters collecting, storing and using their personal data submitted with their entry for the purposes of this Promotion, including as necessary in respect of the administration of the Promotion (in their capacity each as data controllers, acting independently of each other).
• Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation.
• Entrants have certain rights in relation to their personal data, including: (i) to obtain copies of it; (ii) to have it corrected or deleted; (iii) to limit the way in which it is used; (iv) to object to its use; (v) to transfer it; (vi) not to be subject to decisions based on automated processing (including profiling); and (vii) to complain to the regulator, the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Please note that many data subject rights are not absolute and the extent to which they apply may vary depending on the circumstances and any exemptions that may apply.

Liability:

• Football Association of Wales will not be liable for: (i) any loss that is not caused by Football Association of Wales (or any person acting on Football Association of Wales behalf); (ii) any loss caused by any event or circumstance beyond Football Association of Wales reasonable control; (iii) any loss of profits or revenue, loss of anticipated savings or loss of goodwill; or (iv) any unavailability of the Football Association of Wales website. However, nothing in these Rules limits or excludes any person's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or for any matter for which it would be illegal to limit or exclude liability.
• In particular, consumers have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described and services which are not performed with reasonable care and skill and these legal rights are in addition to and are not affected in any way by anything contained in these Rules. Further advice about consumer rights is available from any local Citizens' Advice Bureau, local Trading Standards office, as applicable in their country.

By entering this Promotion, each entrant acknowledges that in the event of a win their surname and county of residence may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Any entrant may object to their information ng made available in this way or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting Football Association of Wales using the contact details at the end of these Rules. In these circumstances, the entrant acknowledges that Football Association of Wales may nevertheless disclose the relevant information, and the entrant's entry, to the relevant country’s Advertising Standards Authority or other legal authority, if required to do so. This may happen where Football Association of Wales is required to demonstrate that it has awarded the Prize(s) advertised. To request disclosure of winners' details, enquirers must submit a request by email by one month after the competition close date. Details will only be disclosed (if permitted by law) after the Prize(s) has been validly claimed.

Football Association of Wales does not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed. For example, as a result of network, system development, computer or telecommunications failures or fault of any kind – including any hardware, programming code, databases or software used in the Promotion.

The winner may be required to participate in reasonable related publicity without further reward. e.g. be photographed for website/newspaper stories or provide a short statement about their win. Each entrant agrees that in the event of a win, Football Association of Wales will be able to use the winner’s name and image in connection with such publicity. Each entrant agrees that Football Association of Wales may share, publish or promote any image, video text or other content submitted or uploaded to any website in connection with this Promotion, on its corporate website, blogs or its Facebook, Instagram or Twitter account.

Football Association of Wales reserves the right to vary, cancel or amend, without notice, this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control. In the event of cancellation, the Prize(s) may be awarded to a winner drawn from eligible entries received prior to cancellation.

This Promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
