Chris Gunter earned 109 caps for his country, and will now lead the Cymru team at UEFA Under-19 Wales 2026 as Head Coach following his appointment in January.

The tournament will run from 28 June to 11 July with matches taking place at Bangor City Stadium, Bangor; The Oval, Caernarfon; Central Park, Denbigh; and The Racecourse Ground, Wrexham, which will host all three of Cymru’s group stage matches.
